It is a known fact now that frequent computer use leads to the decrease in the strength of muscles and that eventually leads to problems that affect the whole body. Some part of the body is getting over utilized and strained, while other parts of the body weakens due to inactivity. They are collectively being called as Repetitive Strain Injury.
The parts of the body that gets mostly affected are:
1. Eyes
As you know, constantly glaring at that monitor for hours cause severe strain on the eyes. Eyes are designed to focus at different lengths and each time when you blink, it cleanses the eye. While in-front of computer, we often forget to blink and to look at different focal lengths.
This causes, reddishness in the eyes, Headache and eventually makes your eye loose its abilities. You will have to start using glasses to reduce the strain and to protect your vision.
2. Spine
Our spice is one of the most important element of our bone structure. It is designed to be flexible and muscles supports the whole spinal structure. Hours of inactivity makes the muscles weak and you will eventually starts to have lower back pains and even Disk prolapses, which is getting more and more common among Computer users.
3. Hand/Fingers/Legs:
Mind you, that all these body parts were designed to do a lot of activity and this is how our body has been evolved over the past hundreds of years. Now, suddenly, there were thrown in to idleness. When added with the scenario that they were being used at uneven and unsuitable postures, the blood flow gets affected and there are cases when the users had to amputate the body parts.
