Best Top Gmail notifier extension for multiple accounts with auto-login and Quick-preview support

      I've been trying multiple chrome extension to receive notifications on the unread message counts from Gmail accounts. Most of them out there were having one or more of the below disadvantages.

1. Did not allow multiple Gmail accounts.
2. Did not allowed to preview the messages. I had to login each time OR the preview display was not simple.
3. I had to login each time by manually typing in the login details to see the emails/messages.; didn't supported Auto-Login.

The multiNotifier extension that being mentioned here addresses the above concerns pretty decently. Now with this extension, i can

1. See the unread messages count for multiple accounts.
2. Provides a quick preview of the unread messages.
3. Directly logs me in without providing the login details. [That is what i liked most!]

How to use multiNotifier?
      Upon installing this FREE extension from here, we will be asked to provide the login details for multiple Gmail accounts. we can provide at most of 5 account details. Once provided, the extension will check unread message counts at specified interval and displays the total number of unread emails from all those accounts.

The unread messages will be displayed on the top right and clicking on it will show a detailed picture of unread messages for each account. Here is where it gets really useful.

Quick Preview:
      For each account, there will be small mail icon next to the unread message information. click on it to see a quick preview of the unread messages, for that specific account. This is really useful, since it is very fast and gives an idea of the unread messages without the need of logging in. We can even click on any message to see the full email message. The extension automatically logs you in to see the full email message and we can continue to use the Gmail account as usual.

Auto-Login:
      For each account being displayed in the notifier, the number of unread messages will be shown. This also comes with a GREEN and RED message icons for easy identification. A single click on the message, will take you inside your specific Gmail account, again, without the need to type in your login username and password. Here is a video on this:

      Thus the advantage of this extension over the others is that once configured, it performs all the basic notifier functions without the need to type in anything again. Set it and Forget it!

      The developer mentions that the passwords are stored with advanced encryption and standard methods. The only disadvantage that i find now is that it's inability to add more than 5 accounts.

Best Top calculator extension for Chrome - Simple and Easy

Until recently i was using the Chrome's address bar for some quick calculations. Most of the time, i had to calculate percentages and simple expressions and i wondered whether we can store these simple formula so that i can come back and just change the variables to get the results. The search for this landed on this simple extension for chrome.

The extension sits near to the address bar, similar to just any other extension and it calculates the output as and when we type, similar to Google's calculator.

The feature that i liked most is the ability to remember the expressions/formula for later use. I can just type in the expression and tell the extension to remember the entered expression. Later, i can just pull it back from History and recalculate with some changes.

Even variables can be specified and stored along with the expressions, so that when using it later, just the variable values can be changed and calculated.

Automatically login to Facebook in Chrome - Quick and Easy Tip

I stumbled upon an extension that makes your life easy. It allows you to automatically login to your Facebook account quickly and easily.

Once installed, i have to setup my Facebook account user id and password in this extension. After that i can access my Facebook account in just a click on the extension.

At the same time, if you have multiple accounts on Facebook (Guess it's a rare scenario, except maye be some marketing guys), you can setup that accounts too. In this case, the extension shows up the list of accounts, whenver we land on a Facebook login page. We can login to any of those account in just a click, again!

Quick Login Extension - The simple and automatic Google (Apps) Account switcher for Google Chrome

I've been using this extension for quite a long time and have to say that this one rocks! I've almost forgot my passwords for all of my Google accounts (which is not actually an advantage, i guess) as i have this extension installed on my Google Chrome

I have around 8 Google accounts for a variety of purposes and i was finding this very time consuming to type in all the details whenever i have to login OR to switch between my Google accounts. Now, with this extension, i can just click any of the names, and it just takes me directly into my account. I can also switch between my Google accounts by just logging out in which the extension opens up the configured accounts, and a click again takes me in to the desired account.

Moreover, if i landed upon any of the google login pages, it shows up the assistant automatically. Currently, this extension supports up to 10 accounts and i would like to keep it in posts so that others can find and use it. And hey.. it works with Google Apps Accounts too. Enjoy!

I just saw Gmail Motion and it looks like a very unusual feature for Google to come up with. Considering that today is April 1st, this is a best candidate for April Fool Joke for this year. They do this all the time!
